Rasa Sentosa - All You Need To Know

Rasa Sentosa in short is decently fun for children, suitable for families but if you are a romantic couple looking for peace and quiet? Steer clear.

Generally Rasa Sentosa is a little tad old. Generally functional.

So, I bought my little bub for a family staycation! Chose Rasa after some researched. Booked a garden room which was just located at level 1 where all the pools are, the slides, the playgrounds, the fun clubs for children.

The only thing you might experience is; alot of other families will choose Garden Room options too. Hence, you will hear more wailings, running footsteps of different little ones along the corridor.

The hotel prepped a sofa bed for us so that my little bub can sleep on it. If you have 2 children? Not to worry. The sofa bed is like a queen bed when extended. But, beware of creaking sounds because of the old metal joints of the sofa bed! The hotel also prepped a bed guard for us. But it is those cheap-ass china made quality bed guard which are not stable and mount properly mounted. So be careful!

Room became pretty squeeze after expanding the sofa bed side by side to our couple bed. So, be careful when you walk!

Hotel buffet for mornings are great. They have wide selections! Go for the fruits like bananas and plums. They are so fresh that I saw many people packing them in their own bags! If you have a baby who need Heinz Jar baby food? They have it all in a locked up fridge. Approach the staff and they will unlock for you.

They have a kids buffet corner, made for children to take their own food, with all the kids-friends cutleries. Very fun!

Rasa has different clubs for children of different ages. Little Tots Club is a small indoor playground catered for children under 5 years old. It is decent and clean enough. Just remember to bring your own socks! Else, each pair costs $5 bucks. My baby did have alot of fun then!

We spent most of our staycay at the poolside. They have different pools, big and small and have waterslides for children too! Most importantly, the pools are heated and it is really good for my little baby. They also cater water balls at the pool area which you can just pick it up and have fun with. There is a pool bar situated at the poolside as well! So, parents who need a drink? You know where to go!

If you are bored indoors of the hotel, you can go for a walk at Siloso. They also have a play area for older kids. We went in but it was just too hot for fun play. We gave up and decided to do something else. You can visit the other attractions in Sentosa. Just make sure you make the prior bookings! Else, you will be turned off by the long queues and crowds!

Generally the Staycay experience was quite pleasant because Rasa really is made catered for Families.

Out of 5 stars, I will give it a 3.5!

Till then!
